Prolific thespians of Iran fest shortlisted

The most prolific thespians of the 36th edition of Fajr Film Festival have been shortlisted on the sideline of the event.

Iranian actor Babak Hamidiyan has appeared to be the most prolific actor of this round of festival by having four films in competition.

Hamidiyan earned a spot on the list due to his appearances in ‘Flight in the Levant Time’ by Ebrahim Hatamikia, ‘Underwater Cedar’ by  Mohammad-Ali Bashe-Ahangar, ‘Confiscation’ by Mehran Ahmadi and ‘Nostalgia Celebration’ by Pouria Azarbaijani.

Sahar Dolatshahi is also picked as mighty prolific actress of the Fajr Festival for starring in ‘Cold Sweat’ by Soheil Beiraqi, ‘Istanbul Intersection’ by Mostafa Kiaei and ‘Amir’ by Nima Eqlima.

Fajr Film Festival is Iran's annual film festival held every February on the anniversary of the Iranian revolution.

Established in 1982, the festival displays creative achievements of highly acclaimed cineastes and pays tribute to local and international films.

The 36th edition of the event kicked off on February 1, 2018 and is due to run until February 11.
